What is Nutritional Therapy

Nutritional therapy is the application of nutrition science in the promotion of health, peak performance and individual care. Nutritional therapy includes a wide range of tools to assess and identify potential nutritional imbalances and understand how these may contribute to an individual’s symptoms and health concerns.

Nutritional Therapy practitioners consider each individual to be unique and recommend personalized nutrition and lifestyle programmes rather than a ‘one size fits all’ approach.

Nutritional Therapy

Preparation for the Initial Consultaion

As soon as we decide to work together I will ask you to complete Health and Nutritional Questionere and Three-Day Food Diary. This will help me to get an understanging about your diet, lifestyle and health. These are very imporant tools in helping to make conection between food and the body and mind so it is very important you take time to fill these in.

Initial Consultation

During your Initial Consultation we will evaluate your health, diet and lifestyle questioners and I will ask you detailed aditional questions. We will discuss on how these may influence your curent health state and your symptoms and touch on potential treatment plan; including dietary and lifestyle changes, nutritional supllements and/or additional testing.

Shortly after the Initial Consultaion I will email you a Personalised Nutrition Plan, which will cover a summary of the consultaion including how dietary and lifestyle habbits maybe contirbuting to your current symptoms. The plan will include detailed strategies towards your future goals; such as dietary plan, lifestyle, nutirional supplements and any other recomendations.

Additional shorter telephone/zoom free of charge session maybe arranged in case if there is a need for the labarotory testing, GP or any other specialist referrals, or if there are any particular questions you or I would like to ask.

Follow-Up Consultaion

Depending on circumstances Follow-Up consultaion is usually set between 4-6 weeks after the Initial Consulation took place. The Folow-Up constultations are designed to give you an ongoing support and monitor the progress.

During the Follow-Up Consultation we will review your progress, evaluate labaratory testing (if applies) and make appropriate adjustments to the plan. Nutirional Therapy is focused on a Personalised approach to health and each case is unique, therefore it takes different times to see the optimal improvement but some of the most important factors towards the achieving the optimal health is to be patient within yourself and stay focused.
